Who are we?

The Dark of the Mountain is a collection of artists creating horror films that utilize the space between urban and rural areas to tell scary stories. Terror in fiction has long been an effective educator for expressing deeper human experiences. Our goal is to empower artists in overlooked communities and tell stories that are resonant with core of human experience.
